Director | Ty Burket
Ty, a Hollidaysburg native, brings a wealth of hockey experience to Ty Burket Hockey Camp. Starting with the Altoona Trackers, he progressed to AAA level play with the Esmark Stars and Pittsburgh Penguins Elite, earning accolades like the 2021 Mid-Am Championship. As captain of the Mid-State Mustangs, he led the team to a Divisional Championship in the EJEPL. Ty continued his hockey journey by playing junior hockey with the Hershey Cubs. In this higher level of competition, he demonstrated his versatility and skill. His outstanding performances were recognized three times when he was featured as a Mid-Atlantic Division player of the week. He returned home for his final season and crowned the LMHL Championship. Continuing his hockey career for IUP’s ACHA Division 1 program, he’s excited to run his first hockey camp and eager to inspire and empower young athletes in his community.
Goalie Coach | Tyler Duey
Tyler Duey, a seasoned goalie and alternate captain for the Hollidaysburg Tigers and the Mid-State Mustangs. With three State appearances under his belt and awards including EJ MVP, Player of the Week, and two-time LMHL Goalie of the Year, Tyler brings top-tier expertise to the rink.
As an instructor, Tyler is committed to sharing his wealth of experience and passion for hockey with aspiring players. Tyler provides personalized training to help students reach their full potential.
